Is your brand voice confused? Make it crystal clear!
Okay, so you have a business. But, is that business a brand?
The gap between turning your business into a successful brand relies heavily on your tone and voice.
Without a clear, consistent way of talking to customers and prospects (ideal customers), you can kiss the *cha-ching* goodbye.
You can speak as though you’re talking as yourself. But, ask yourself is this how I want my brand portrayed and will that be effective?
Your voice defines the unique and consistent personality of your brand.
Tone is a subset of voice, reflecting the moods and attitudes of specific pieces of content, which can change based on the platform, situation, and audience.
Now, develop your tone and voice! When crafting your T+V, think about your brand personality and remember that context is key!
Ask yourself the following questions:
What is the purpose of this content?
Who am I writing to?
How do they feel?
What do they want to understand?
Therefore, what kind of tone should I use?
